July is a great time to visit the North Yorkshire countryside be it the North Yorkshire Moors or the Yorkshire Dales . The trees in full leaf provide a sense of splendour and the stunning wild flower meadows are also worth exploring. the woodlands include some of Britain’s most impressive trees including majestic oaks, ashes and beeches. The wildflower meadows and fields and hedgerows are also home to a diverse array of animals, insects and butterflies.

Located just 15 minutes drive from the centre of York and with plenty of free parking the hotel is an excellent venue for afternoon tea. We change our afternoon tea offering monthly, our scones and cakes are homemade and our sandwiches freshly made and delicious.
