Love good food ? consider yourself a foodie? Why not visit the Foodies Festival being held in Harrogate on the 19th to the 21st August 2016? The foodies festival is reportedly the UK’s biggest series of food festivals and in 2016 celebrates its 11th year, and comes to North Yorkshire this August. The festival is being held at Ripley Castle in Harrogate and will give visitors the chance to see many familiar faces from the world of food and drink.
Known as one of the social events of the summer , the festival has been growing year on year with tens of thousands of visitors attending to enjoy the vast array of culinary activities. A number of top chefs will be cooking in the Chef’s Theatre; there will also be demonstrations on brewing beer and wine and champagne masterclasses in the Drink’s Theatre. there is also many things for children to do including learning to cook too in the Children’s Cookery Theatre.

The foodies festival is also an opportunity to meet Meet Great British Menus Stephanie Moon cooking her signature recipes in the Aga Rangemaster Chefts theatre, with Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli and Masterchef’ winner Ping Coombes and Masterchef finalist Tony Rodd. the festival gives the chance to see Michelin starred and top chefs cooking their signature recipes in the Chefs Theatre and top bakers in the Cake & Bake Theatre.
An excellent array of produce and dishes will be available for sale from artisan producers, as well as a feast of street food from around the world, and wine, champagne and craft beer in the Drinks Theatre. Whilst you eat and drink you can relax and enjoy the music on the live music stage.
