The grand rooms of Castle Howard will during the festival will feature a spectacular display of stunning floral arrangements at its annual flower festival from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 June 2016. The Castle Howard florist and garden team will join forces with members of  local flower clubs  to fill the house with a diverse selection of arrangements both  contemporary and  traditional, which will each take inspiration from the spectacular surroundings. There will be events and also garden tours of those surrounding Castle Howard.

Outside in the 18th century walled garden visitors will be able to see a stunning collection of heritage roses and blue and white addition to pretty herbaceous borders and a carp pond. Gardening enthusiasts  can also find a selection of traditional English garden produce and sweet pea wigwams in the ornamental vegetable garden. the grounds also boast a  prestigious collection of rhododendrons as well as glades of Pieris, wild roses,and  magnolias
